The documentation tells me to use the Ipsec VPN wizard but under the wizards drop down menu there's nothing VPN related there. I have a 'base' license, is that the issue? or am I being stupid? The versions I have are: Cisco Asa 5505 with ASA 8.2(1) and ASDM 6.2(1), the firewall was already setup when I got it (I'm leasing a dedicated server).

ASA 5505 License Differences Essentially the licenses come in 10 user, 50 user, and unlimited*. You can also have a Security Plus License, this increases IPSEC VPN’s from 10 to 25, and adds Active/Standby failover, Dual ISP Support, and DMZ Support. The license ASA5505-SW-10-50= only gives you more internal users bot not more VPN-Peers. You need the SecPlus license upgrade (L-ASA5505-SEC-PL=) for more VPN-peers. But that won't give you more internal users if these are also too small. If you need to increase these also, you need both licenses. ASA 5505 and AnyConnect licensing. Folks--pardon my ignorance, but trying to make sense of the documentation for this is all but impossible I've got a client who's looking to enable SSL VPN on an ASA 5505. Looking at the output of the unit, it's got a Base license, AnyConnect Essentials is in a disabled state, but it also says 'SSL VPN Peers: 25'.
